MISSION TEAM MEMBER (2011 Musicians and Non-Musicians) APPLICATION PROCESS
Those interested in being part of the AIA Mission Team, as representatives of Christ bridging cultural, musical, and spiritual gaps, are asked to contact the Director of AIA by email and use online application.
The involvement of Mission Team Members includes:
- Hotel cleaning - there is work that is very helpful to AIA and its participants. This includes work helping hotel staff with cleaning (if called upon). The hotel is self-catering, so to keep our costs low we are able to do many helpful things for the hotel.
- There is a need for rehearsal/performance set up and transporting musicians to and from rehearsals and performances.
- There is a need for chefs (or cooks) to help prepare breakfast and a periodic lunch or dinner for all participants.
- Daily Bible Studies and prayer times led by a faculty member.
- Concert attendance - there will be several concerts during the week that all participants have the opportunity to attend.
- Sightseeing - you cannot attend an event in the Austrian Alps without spending some time looking around!
The cost of attending as a Mission Team member is the same as for student musicians. Please use the online application, though questions referring to applicant as a student do not need to be answered - use NA (non-applicable).
