Lodging for the 2012 Musik-Brücken is in the planning stages. Below is a description of the hotel MB has reserved for 2012.
Musik-Brücken has reserved the White Mountain Hotel in Plöeven, Austria . The White Mountain provides a high standard of continental European accommodations. Each room is equipped with a telephone, television, and bath or shower.
Within walking distance, participants may take advantage of indoor and outdoor tennis and swimming (additional cost). Hiking is a Tyrolean tradition with the Alps out your backdoor! A glacier, providing year round skiing opportunities and an extraordinary view of the Alps, is only 30 minutes away at the end of the Stubai Valley. In addition, an "alpine slide" is located just across the valley and ski lifts on both sides of the valley may be taken to dizzying heights of beauty!
The train station is a few blocks away and provides transportation to and from Innsbruck for those wishing to take a bit more of a romantic excursion!
DIRECTIONS FROM MUNICH AIRPORT:
Leaving Munich Airport:
Follow signs to Munchen Autobahn
Follow signs to Munchen/Salzburg
Follow signs to Innsbruck (includes Salzburg until road splits)
When you are approaching Innsbruck (Hall West exit is on East side of Innsbruck):
Get in Left lane
Follow signs to Brenner (road splits, there is no real exit)
Get in right lane as you pass McDonalds (after you go over long bridge)
R Exit - Schonberg/Stubaital (pay 3 Euro toll)
After toll keep right to get on main road to valley
R Exit - Telfes (sign)
R turn - T intersection
Stay on road (passing over railroad tracks)
L turn after railroad tracks on Plövenweg
Continue up hill
White Mountain Hotel is on left down small street
